About
SlingShot is an Adelaide based commercial photographic studio established in 2005 by Steve McCawley. Joined shortly thereafter by fellow photographer and retoucher Jim Oatley, the pair specialise in all aspects of film and digital image making. Since opening, SlingShot’s work has been highly awarded nationally.
The studio features a large drive-in space, with conference and viewing areas, kitchen facilities and changing rooms, making it the newest purpose-built photographic studio in Adelaide. To ensure all client requirements can be met, SlingShot has strong working relationships with leading freelance photographers, retouchers, stylists and assistants.
Services
Whilst the SlingShot’s work and client base is broad, the studio specialises in shooting for retail, commercial and advertising applications. SlingShot can organise full production on projects if required, including location and prop sourcing, model agency liaison and talent booking, and commissioning hair/makeup and food stylists.
SlingShot can offer multiple choices of image capture, from 35mm to medium format in both film and digital cameras. As a true end-to-end provider, SlingShot handles in-house full retouching, contouring and file preparation, to supply its clients with web, TVC or print ready images.
